I graduated from Dickinson State University in 1984. This is my 32nd year of teaching. I have taught 10 years at the elementary level and 22 years at the middle school level. (I was also a substitute teacher for one year.) I am orginally from Westfield, North Dakota – pop. 13 (15 in the summer) (population boom). My husband, Tom Simmers, is a 7/8 Math teacher at the high school in Stanley. We are both very happy to be part of the Stanley school district.
