Attention Stanley High School students and parents!
As the start of the school year approaches, school supply lists have started going out. If you have a student in 9th or 10th grade English, many materials are here in my classroom waiting for them to use. In addition, here are additional items a 9th and 10th grader will need for English:
--a separate folder for just English (I have composition books for notes and 3-ring binders ready for students, but as those items will stay in the classroom, a separate folder to bring and house papers is needed)
--a pencil AND pen (plain black ink pen will suffice)
--1 or 2 highlighters. Doesnt matter color, something for annotations.
--a book for reading (for 10th graders--a semester "book talk" will be assigned along with reading days. Students NEED to have a book to read, however if there is difficulty in finding one, i have acquired many over the summer)
Thats it--highlighter, pen/pencil, folder, and 10th graders need a book. Feel free to email me with any questions!
