Due to a lack of participation we are not able to sustain consistent numbers large enough to compete at the varsity level. We will be competing as a junior varsity football team for the 2019 football season. Please pay attention to schedule changes in the coming days because there will be a number of changes. At this time, our first game vs Tioga will be moved to Tuesday, September 3rd, following our junior high matchup scheduled to start at 5pm with a junior varsity game to follow at around 6:30pm. This decision was not taken lightly but we feel at this time is the most appropriate decision to make for our athletes. We will be working diligently this season to compete at the highest level of our ability in order to pave the way for future football players to compete at the highest levels of varsity competition. As we compete week in and week out, our expectations of excellence will not waiver and we will still look for community involvement and support as we move forward in building the program to the excellence and strength showcased by past teams. That being said, Stanley Public Schools is announcing a forfeiture of all varsity football games for the 2019 season.
