Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 4th and March 6th from 4:00-7:00 pm at both the elementary and high school. Parents/Guardians at the elementary school have assigned meeting times with their child's teacher. At the high school, please stop in the office to grab your child's grades, then go on to meet with teachers.
Stanley Elementary School has several contagious sicknesses affecting both students and staff. Confirmed cases of Covid 19, Influenza, Fifth's Disease (also known as slapped cheek disease). Slapped cheek symptoms start off as low fever, headache, runny nose, sore throat, itching, nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. A rash often appear as bright red cheeks, on a childs arms, legs, or trunk. Once the sickness develops a rash, that is actually when it is no longer contagious. If your child is complaining of symptoms consistent with any of these sicknesses, please keep them home at lease 24 hours beyond the last recorded feverous temp, bout of diarrhea or vomiting, and overall symptoms have approved without symptom reducing medications.
Students raising money for the American Heart Association's Kid's Heart Challenge, please have your fundraising envelops turned into Mr. Danks by the end of the day of February 28th. This Friday will be the last day turn in paper envelops for fundraising. If you did fundraising online, you have nothing to worry about. A big thank you goes out to everyone that did fundraising for the American Heart Association.

The Blue Jay Clay Target League registration is open. If your student is interested in participating, they can pick up more information in the HS office. Students must have their hunter's safety. Returning participants can register at https://www.claytargetscoring.com/ and log into their account. New participants can register at the same site with the team ID of sty427 . Text @trapleag to 81010 to be added to our Remind. We practice Sundays or Mondays (TBA due to coach’s schedule) or Wednesday evenings at 5. Students supply their own rounds and trap fees. The clay target team is uses the Blue Jay name, but is not an official Stanley Public Schools activity and is not under the umbrella of the NDHSAA.
