SEVENTH GRADE CELEBRATES PI DAY (3/14)! Students in each class volunteered for committees & worked together to plan the parties. Highlights included homemade 🥧 (one even with the pi symbol!), lots of other food, paper chains to decorate the room with the beginning digits of the number pi, and informative posters & power points. THANK YOU to everybody who helped us acknowledge one of our favorite irrational numbers! 🥳

4th grade practiced their cooperation skills and teamwork this week by building pyramids using only string and rubber bands. Students were asked to make a tool using the materials given to them and couldn't touch the cups or pyramid with their hands. They were very creative and found multiple ways to solve the problem and reach their goal of building their pyramid!
