Our first graders were rockin' during their tic-tac-toe game and honesty lesson! They worked with partners to share ways that they are truthful at school, at home, and with friends. In K-2, we also discussed times when it's hard to be honest, like when students are embarrassed. Students came up with several self-regulation strategies to help: take deep breaths, read a book, go for a walk, and talk it out. Keep it up, Bluejays!
