The 3rd graders have been learning about cultures in Social Studies! They traveled to the Norsk Hostfest to experience the Scandinavian culture with music, food, costumes, trolls, vikings, and more! What a fun day!

The Cross Country meet at Williston this Saturday, 9/23/2023 has been cancelled.
Sixth graders used their knowledge of greatest common factor to play Capture the Flag today. For each correct answer, teams got to capture another team's flag. Each color flag was worth a different number of points, and students didn't know until the end of the game how much each color was worth. We ended up with a tie for first place and a lot of cheering each other on! 🥇🥈🥉

Classes are busy this week growing in their problem-solving and friendship skills as well as conflict resolution and respect! 3rd and 4th grade practiced respect and problem-solving in small groups and with partners to disagree respectfully and see the good in others. 2nd grade focused on using I-statements to resolve conflicts, 1st grade made "wrinkled hearts" to show how our words and actions affect others, and Kindergarten made some awesome kindness cards!
