Today, Mrs. Verano’s Science class had an exciting opportunity to meet guest speakers from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)! Thomas, Kaysia, and Autumn, experts working at NASA, visited the 8th graders to share their knowledge and passion for the solar system. Their engaging presentation helped deepen the students’ understanding of the wonders of space. To tie in the holiday spirit, the students created Christmas-themed planet ornaments, combining creativity with science for a memorable learning experience.

Mr. Hellman’s 4th graders are wrapping up their research project. After using only physical books and encyclopedias to find information they had to write a final copy in cursive! They also got to draw a picture and had to include a source page. We learned so much about our lesser known presidents.

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Camino who was named the North Dakota Student Council Advisor of the Year! Her students share that she is a mentor who encourages and inspires and works to ensure her council members succeed as leaders and individuals. They say how they appreciate that she is caring and supportive and that she finds ways to challenge them to grow. Way to go, Mrs. Camino!!
