Take a look at these Speechies! It was a great day in Stanley today. Stanley hosted 12 teams and had a full day of competition. We had multiple Speech members trying new categories and added a few State Qualifiers (SQ) to our season. We are so proud of each and every member on our team! Thank you to all the coaches, judges, and families that helped make this meet a success!

Stanley Elementary School held a Battle of the Books competition today. Five teams faced off answering questions about the twelve assigned books they had read over the school year. The top two teams advance to the regional competition taking place in March. The Midnights placed first with team members Laynee Littlecreek, Piper Taylor, Ana Castillo, Majesty Wolff, Camden Wolleson, and Chandler Harper. Placing second were the Plot Twisters with team members Sophie Stafslien, Hailey Goethe, Charley Reum, Eli Taylor, and Linnaya Halvorson.

Stanley Speech is at it again! These ladies competed in Nedrose yesterday and brought home another State Qualifier (SQ). The meet was much larger than we anticipated but these lovely ladies represented Stanley extremely well. We're about halfway through our season so when you see them this week, give them a high five and cheer them on to finish strong!

If you notice the North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicles in our parking lot today, there is no cause for concern. They're using our multipurpose room for training. We appreciate their presence in our building and they appreciate the opportunity to use our facility.
