Fall sports are just around the corner. Parents and student-athletes are reminded that a sports physical is required by the first day of practice. Call the Mountrail County Medical Center Clinic at 701-628-2505 to schedule your sports physical.
Kindergarten Pre-Assessments are scheduled for Tuesday, August 2nd and Wednesday, August 3rd. Each day will consist of two options, 9am-11am and 12pm until 2pm. It is recommended that any student entering into Kindergarten for the 22-23 school year participate. Parents are also encouraged to attend a parent meeting during this time as well. Students that have not been registered may sign up for the assessment and can complete the registration process that day as well. Notice is hereby given that the Stanley Public School Board will open sealed bids in the teacher workroom of the Stanley High School at five o'clock P.M. on Monday, June 27, 2022 during the regular meeting of the School Board. All vehicles are sold as is. Bids will be accepted for the following:
ITEM NO. 1 Used Car: 1997 Ford Taurus with 200,206 miles. Sold as is. Mark Envelope as Ford Taurus.
ITEM NO. 2 Used 12 passenger minibus: 2002 GMC Minibus with wheelchair lift with 121,084 miles Sold as is. Mark Bid Envelope as Bus #8.
ITEM NO. 3 Used 42 passenger bus: 2008 Blu Bird bus with wheelchair lift with 166,551 miles. Sold as is. Mark Bid Envelope as Bus # 9.
ITEM NO. 4 Used 48 passenger activity bus: 2015 IC bus with 71,886 miles. Sold as is. Mark Bid Envelope as Bus # 50.

Bids to be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to Stanley School; Attn: Tim Holte; PO Box 10; Stanley, ND 58784 and received prior to commencement of the above-mentioned Meeting and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope, ‘Bid for Purchase of Vehicle’ and indicate on the outside of the envelops which vehicle the bid is for. Separate bids should be submitted for each vehicle. All bids received after the scheduled time will be returned unopened.

Stanley FFA had 20 members compete at the 93rd North Dakota State FFA Convention. There was over 1,500 members, advisors and guests at this years convention held on NDSU Campus. You can check out the results on the Stanley FFA Facebook page.
Stanley Community Public Schools is looking for substitute teachers for the 2022-2023 school year. To be a certified sub, you need to have 48 college credit hours (in any field) and be able to pass a background check. If you don't have the full 48 hours but are interested in helping out in our classrooms, please contact the schools and we will see what options are available. S.A.C.K. Pantry items are available for pickup in the main office of Stanley Elementary. Bags will be available on Wednesdays throughout the summer. We are also experiencing a large surplus of items in our pantry. You are welcome to grab additional items from the pantry, beyond your normal bags received. Just inquire at the front desk and we will assist you in receiving those extra items.

Congratulations to Cooper Dupay, Katie Wilhelmi, Kaisa Mortensen, and Rebecca Bohrer on receiving the Blaisdell Rodeo Association Scholarship in memory of Mike Sauber. This scholarship was given to students who have been active in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities throughout their high school career, something Mike was very passionate about supporting!
Softball Camp for 1st-6th grade is cancelled tonight due to field conditions.
The senior class voted to cancel their parade that was scheduled for Friday evening due to the weather forecast.
Just a reminder that the Elementary School will not be serving breakfast or lunch tomorrow, Friday, May 20th.
It is also early dismissal tomorrow. Students will be dismissed at 12:00, busses will run at that time.
