It is so nice to see full hallways and smiling faces once again. In an effort to keep as many students healthy and in class as much as possible, just a reminder to please keep students home if they are experiencing symptoms of communicable sickness of any kind. Also, please note the doors into the main office area open at 8am, and for this week only, parents are welcome to bring their students to class. Please do a verbal check in with office staff and on Monday of next week, visitors will only be allowed access into the building when cleared by office staff. Once in the building you must sign in and wear a badge. Today will be a normal afternoon dismissal time (3:30pm) and all future Wednesdays will be an early dismissal at 2:40pm. Thank you for being a part of our school district and sharing your students with us.

Don't forget Back to Blue Jay night Thursday, August 19th starting at 5:30pm at the football field/track.

The first maps sent were difficult to read and see the street numbers. This map should have the streets more visible. Click the link to view maps:

In town bus route- Please look at the designated stops and approximate stop times for the route within the City of Stanley. Due to time constraints and capacity limits, the bus will stop only at the designated places. These times are approximate and families will be notified of changes if they occur. The bus will run through the main part of town, then drop students off at the high school and elementary school. The bus will then go to the John Rian Addition to pick up another group of students for drop off at the elementary and high school.
The first group of riders that are picked up in the morning will be the first students who will be dropped off at those same designated locations after school. Other students will wait at the school (under supervision) until the bus returns to take them to the John Rian Addition.

Just a note to elementary parents as I am sure there is some anticipation building up for the start of our school year. Grade specific classroom materials will be mailed out this week so you should expect to see class lists, classroom supply lists, and welcome letters either late this week or early next week. We are currently finalizing class lists and making a few updates to supply lists, so pay attention to our school website for posts for the upcoming school year and make sure to check the mail for your 2021-2022 school year informational packets. Enjoy the remainder of your summer and I look forward to seeing full hallways and classrooms again this fall.

I have posted a supply list for Jr High and High School students for the 2021-2022 school year. It is under High School on the website.

Stanley FFA Members: We are making plans for attending the 94th annual National FFA Convention & Expo at the end of October. If you are interested in attending, please let Miss Hawbaker or Jana know by Friday, August 6th so that we can start making travel plans.

High school girls golf team and coaches will be at the golf course from 3:30-5pm on August 2nd with extra clubs for junior high and high school aged girls who would like to try golfing!

We have limited availability for in-town bus service due to the seating capacity of our buses. The intent of this survey is to gather information on the number of in-town students who would need bus service to see if we are able to meet the needs.

If your child is entering grades 7-12 and is interested in participating in the cheer season, please see the information on the attached flyer.
