Stanley Public School's phone lines are currently down. If you need to report an absence or reach the school, please email the high school at alice.dusek@k12.nd.us and the elementary at jasmynn.halvorson@k12.nd.us.

Stanley Public Schools will start two hours late today, January 14. Buses will not run in the morning or afternoon.

There will be a special meeting of the Stanley School Board at 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 14 in the teacher workroom at the high school to discuss the mask mandate.

For tomorrow's (1/14) JHBBB games at Jim Hill 4pm and 5pm start, attendance is restricted to 2 parents/guests per participate. Masks are required at all times, and it is asked that you leave once your child is no longer participating.

Vouchers will no longer be needed for events at the HS. With expanded capacity will will just cap the number of fans at 50% capacity, which is about 600 fans. General admission will be first come, first serve. Events at the Elementary school will still need to be restricted because of the small size of the gym. Please look for future posts and messages from coaches for any details pertaining to home or away games. You may also contact me with any questions by phone or email (brooks.stafslien@k12.nd.us). Masks are required at all times and we will continue to provide free streaming on NFHSnetwork for all events at the HS.

GBB tonight 1/12 A,B,JH @ Stanley HS will start at 4:30pm. General admission will be allowed, so no vouchers will be given out. Concessions may be available tonight, but S-Club is still waiting on our pop order that is expected to arrive on Wednesday. Masks are required at all times and the game will be streamed free of charge on the NFHSNetwork.

BBB tonight 1/12 @ Berthold will be A & B games only. It is open for general admission, so vouchers will not be given out. Stanley fans are asked to enter door 1 and sit in the west bleachers. Sports pictures for students in grades 7-12 are January 15th from 3-6 at the HS.


Our music/choir classes will begin singing in class on January 13th. Students will be singing while wearing masks. If you have any questions, please call your building administrator.

GBB AB vs Killdeer 2pm start will be open to general admission. 500 seats will be available. Masks are required, no concessions at this time, and it will be streamed on NFHSnetwork free of charge.

NDHSAA has issued new attendance guidelines for activities. Stanley High School will now issue 500 general admission tickets to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Masks are required at all times, including in the gym, during the game. Failure to follow the directive issued by the state can result in NDHSAA fines for the school and/or cancelation of our seasons. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tonight's GBB matchup with Bishop Ryan is supposed to be streamed on NFHSnetwork but they are having technical difficulties that they are actively trying to resolve. If they can not fix the issue before the varsity game, I will post a Youtube link for fans to watch.

SHS Junior/Senior Prom is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 17. Junior/Senior Banquet will be held Friday, April 16. Please watch for more information in the near future!

Mrs. Stafslien’s class made “Frosty” the Snowman during science class to be able to observe the water cycle first hand! We are observing each day and recording data!



Reminder for Stanley fans attending events that masks are required at all times. This includes when you are in the gym seated as well. This is a directive from the State and must be followed per NDHSAA guidelines. Failure to follow mask procedures can result in a referral to the NDHSAA Board of Directors which could result in fines for the school and/or cancelation of activities.
