Thomas, Kaysia, and Autumn, experts working at NASA, visited the 8th graders to share their knowledge and passion for the solar system. Their engaging presentation helped deepen the students’ understanding of the wonders of space.
To tie in the holiday spirit, the students created Christmas-themed planet ornaments, combining creativity with science for a memorable learning experience.

To bring this concept to life, students had the opportunity to dissect pig kidneys. They carefully examined the different parts, learning how each one plays a vital role in the organ’s function. The hands-on activity sparked curiosity, fostered engagement, and gave students a deeper understanding of how our bodies work.
