The Elementary School participated in a coloring contest with the High School Creative Writing class and we had some amazing coloring sheets turned in! Thank you to everyone who participated and thank you to Sienna McLaughlin for creating our coloring sheet!The following sheets are our top three! 1st- Nataly, 6th grade. 2nd- Bergen, 2nd grade. 3rd- Addison, 1st grade. 7th hour FACS class had a small scale cupcake war...we all came out winners in this one!

Mr. Hellman’s 4th graders have been working hard on a research project. The catch, they are not allowed to use any form of technology for research! They have been learning how to use books and encyclopedias to research lesser known presidents. There was hesitation at first but now they are enjoying learning about these important historical figures without any tech to help!

Stanley Elementary Dress Up Days for December! 🎄🎅🏻

Winter Cheer meeting will be held on Monday Dec 2 @ 6pm in the commons. Anyone interested in joining Cheer for winter season, and returning athletes please attend this meeting with a parent! Practice will start Thursday Dec 5th at 4pm.

We are excited to present our first Financial Literacy Boot Camp for high school juniors and seniors on December 4 at Stanley High School. Students will have the opportunity to engage with eight different speakers throughout the morning. The goal of these sessions is to enhance students' knowledge of personal finance and prepare them for life after high school.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated food items to the Sack program!!! We collected over 1000 items along with Mr. Hellman's class raising $1,1667 for him to shave or not shave his beard!! Thank you to Thrivent Financial for matching a donation of 500 items!

December 2-6 Stanley High School will observe Suicide Awareness Week. We come together to shed light on a topic that is often shrouded in silence—mental health struggles and suicide. Every year, millions of people around the world are impacted by mental health challenges, and too many suffer in silence. But we can make a difference by breaking that silence and offering compassion, understanding, and support. It’s essential that we recognize the signs, open up conversations, and offer a listening ear to those who may be struggling. Whether it's a friend, a family member, or someone in your community, your support can be a lifeline. Sometimes, just asking, "How are you really doing?" can make a world of difference. During this week, let's commit to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and fostering an environment where everyone feels safe to speak openly about their mental health. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay—and it’s okay to ask for help. No one should have to face their struggles alone. If you or someone you know is in crisis, reach out. Junior High Parents: Junior High boys basketball starts soon. There will be a parent meeting Monday November 25th at 6:00pm in the high school lunch room. The season starts Monday December 2nd.

Our SACK Program is a weekend backpack program that allows students who need it to take home food for the weekend and for school breaks. We have been blessed to have support from our community to keep this program going. This year we have had a great increase of families. If you are looking for ways to help, please consider donating to the twice blessed grant we received where they will match our donations! Follow the steps below to donate: The S.A.C.K program just received a TWICE BLESSED GRANT and they will MATCH up to $6000.00 From now until the end of the year. There will be no school in Stanley today (Wednesday, November 20).

Stanley School and buses will be 2 hours late on Wednesday, November 20. Buses will run where possible. We will re-evaluate conditions in the morning and make changes if needed.

No mock trials on Wednesday, November 20th for students and jury members. Mock trials will be rescheduled for another date.

The JH girls basketball game tonight against New Town is canceled. No practice for JH girls basketball. All other practices for tonight will be done by 5:00. Athletic Banquet for tonight has been postponed.

A large percentage students did not come prepared for the weather today. Please make sure your students have hats, gloves, snow pants, and boots. Snow pants and boots keep students dry and limit the amount of mud tracked into the school. If you need help providing students with required snow gear, please reach out to the Elementary Office for further information.
