Our Stanley teachers and staff are the best of the best. 💙

Day one of the Blue Jay "Live your best life" Challenge! Post your photos in the comments or email them to Sarah.Sorenson@k12.nd.us! We will have FOUR winnners on Friday, thanks to CRS Construction and Stanley Parks and Rec!!! Get busy living, Bluejays!

SOAR Video and Homework....Dare to Define Yourself through growth:
1 - Check-in with yourself...How are you feeling right now? Name those feelings, acknowledge those feelings. Then text, call, snap, OR message a family member or a friend and ask them how they are feeling...Do not accept "good" or "okay" as an answer. Say, "I really want to know, how ARE you?" Then listen with the passion that you want someone to listen to you.
2 - Write down on a piece of paper or in your notes on your phone or list in your head the disappointments you are facing on this day. Name them. Acknowledge them. Sit in the disappointment for a moment.
3 - Name at least ONE thing you are thankful for right now.
4 - Decide how and what you are going to do to have a positive effect on those around you each day. HINT: You could use the Blue Jay "Live Your Best Life" Challenge for ideas!

Mrs. Stafslien’s class had such a fun night! FORT NIGHT! 🍿 The students made forts in their homes and ate some snacks! We all met for a video chat and listened to music, shared what our forts looked like, danced, chatted, and listened to Mrs. Stafslien read a few stories!

Tune into KD news tonight for a wonderful feature on Blue Jay track and field, well done tracksters and Coach Reum. I wish I had better news for the rest of the season but NDHSAA has officially canceled the rest of the 2020 spring season as well as the winter tournaments. Thank you to the seniors and their families for the years of hard work and dedication. Go Blue Jays

Mrs.Stafslien’s class got a surprise visit from “Flat Stafslien!” They received a note telling them to take it with you in whatever you’re doing because she missed them so much and wanted to spend time with them! Here’s just a few things they did together! (Made snowflakes, created drawings, and went swinging!) ❤️
