There have been reported cases of lice at the Elementary School. Please do a head check and if your child does appear to have lice or nits - keep them home.

Mrs. Stafslien’s class was sponsored earlier this year by community members for $1 scholastic books. They received so many donations that they had an overflow of money! The class discussed and voted on giving a book to each preschooler in town! They read them a book and did art project! The students had so much fun and can’t wait to go to another preschool later on this week! Such a great group of kids!!

SANTA!!!!! We had a visit from Santa yesterday. He passed out candy canes to all our good little girls and boys.

Reminder that we will be having a shelter in place drill in both buildings today, December 16th.

Mrs. Roise’s class had an exciting afternoon! They made gingerbread cookies, and those sneaky buggers ran away! The gingerbread men left hints all around the building for the students to follow. They were finally found on the students’ desks, decorated, and enjoyed!!

On Monday, December 16 we will be conducting a shelter in place drill in both buildings. (HS and Elem.) A reminder will be sent out Monday morning and again during the actual drill. It will be labeled as a drill.

Essler's Human A&P students are learning the bones of the axial skeleton and parts of a long bone. We used Quizlet to print off our Power Words and then turned it into a game of Heads Up! Their partners could point at parts, sutures, or use verbal descriptions to give clues!

Students read books about a tree that had 6 ornaments. They then decorated their own trees with ornaments.

Shout out to six of our junior high/high school students! After school, the Pepsi delivery person had a stack of bottled water fall over, sending a great number of bottles to the ground. Stanley students stepped in right away (without being asked) and helped with the clean up! They made short work of the situation and had the delivery back on track in no time.
