In honor of Veteran’s Day students in the Ag 1 & Ag 4 classes learned how the FFA has worked with and is similar to our country’s military. Essler's Biology have been working on their Pectinase (Exploring Enzymes) Pre-Lab! Using their resources, power words, and their science talk they were to write about enzymes in their Background. They were then tasked with "TAG"ging their peers with positive-forward feedback! They were to TELL a positive, ASK a question, and GIVE a suggestion. Y'all, zoom in and read their TAG Feedback papers! Proud of these kiddos helping one another with scientific literacy! #proudbluejay #esslerscience

Your Stanley Student Council members are proud to host Jeans for Vets on Tuesday, November 12. In honor of veterans day, we are participating in a national dress down day and all staff members may wear jeans if they make a $5 donation. The money will be sent to the GI Go Fund, which assists our nations veterans in seeking employment, attending college, finding housing, and obtaining health care. This is a very worthy cause.

A couple weeks ago, about 80 students participated in a chili cook off. It was a great opportunity for hands-on learning, but now we have a couple of crockpots that got mixed up. If your child brought a crockpot to school that day, would you please check your cupboard. We are looking for a West Bend silver crockpot and a red crockpot. One has the family name on it. Thank you for checking and participating in the crockpot exchange of 2019.
