First Day Reminders for the Elementary School:
Drop-off Area: Parent vehicle drop-offs will be on the south side of the building near the main entrance.
Parking: Parking is not allowed in the designated drop-off area. Please park in the west lot if you plan to take photos or walk your student to class.
Building Access: Parents may accompany their students to class on the first day only. For future visits, all guests must check in at the main office before entering.
Hours & Dismissal: Doors open at 8:00 a.m. On this first Wednesday only, students will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. All following Wednesdays will feature our regular 2:40 p.m. early dismissal.

We’re stocking our Birthday Backup Pantry so we’re always ready to make a student’s special day a little sweeter when needed.
We’re collecting new, unopened cake mixes, frosting, sprinkles, and cupcake liners.

Feel free to bring a donation with you! Items can be dropped off during Open House on August 18, 2026, or brought to the school office.

School Starts Soon: Classes begin on August 19th! We can't wait to welcome students back.
Open House Reminder: Join us on the 18th from 5pm - 6pm to meet teachers, bring supplies, tour classrooms, and get ready for the new school year.
New Parent App: We have 80% of our parents signed up... WOHOO! - Please get your accounts made ASAP. If you have not gotten an email with instructions on setting up your account please contact us.
Student Registration: If you haven't already, please complete the online registration process for returning students as soon as possible.
New Payment System: We’ve upgraded to a new payment platform for school meals. In the 'Campus Parent' app: Pay for lunches under 'Food Service'
Absence Requests: You can now submit student absence requests directly through the mobile app for quick and easy reporting. Listed under 'Shortcuts' on the home screen or click 'More' on the menu, then 'Absence Requests' towards the bottom.
Stanley High School has an opening for an in-house substitute teacher. This is a full time position following the school calendar. Starting pay $19/hour and single health insurance policy.
QUALIFICATIONS: Substitute teaching license from North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board (Link for substitute license requirements: https://www.nd.gov/espb/licensure/substitute-license-requirements-and-application)
Interest in children and education
Desire to assist students in a learning environment
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans.

Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned.
Takes reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Maintains reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility.
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and times designate

While students are already registered for their classes, we'll be offering Schedule Pickup Days to help everyone get ready for the first day of school. During your visit, students can:
📅 Pick up a printed copy of their class schedule
🏫 Walk through their schedule to find classrooms and lockers
💳 Pay student fees
✏️ Visit with staff about possible schedule changes
Schedule Pickup Days:
🔹 Monday, August 10 – Grades 7 & 8
🔹 Tuesday, August 11 – Grades 9 & 10
🔹 Wednesday, August 12 – Grades 11 & 12
🔹 Thursday, August 13 – New Students
🕘 Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day
If you have students in more than one grade, feel free to stop in on the day that works best for your family. You can pick up schedules and pay fees for all of your students during the same visit.
