Stanley Elementary is PUMPED UP for Heart Health!
We’ve kicked off our annual Jump Rope for Heart/Kids Heart Challenge! Watch for your student to be excited about healthy hearts, learning Hands only CPR, and having fun while helping people with sick hearts! Our goal is to have at least 50% of our students sign up for the challenge this year so their family can learn Hands only CPR at home through Finn’s Mission! Our school site to learn more and to sign up online is http://www2.heart.org/goto/stanleyhasheart
Envelopes have been sent home with your student with details on how to participate.
Thank you for your support in our efforts to continue our impact as a Top School in North Dakota on the American Heart Association’s work in our community.

Congratulations to Braxton Istilart for making it into the ND All-State Band!
Braxton did a live audition that required him to perform prepared scales, an etude, and a solo. In addition, he had to sight read music which is performing music on the spot without seeing it beforehand.
Braxton will work with the top music students in the state in March at the Bismarck Events Center under the direction of Dr. T Andre Feagin. Their concert will be Saturday, March 25th at 1:00pm.

Stanley FBLA members will share their projects from this year at CTE in Memorial Hall on Monday February 6 from 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM. This event is open to the public so feel free to stop by if you are in Bismarck.

Stanley Schools are please to welcome our new School Resource Officer (SRO), Savannah Wilson. Officer Wilson is committed to becoming an integral part of our school community. She is thrilled to be working with students, staff, and families to build a positive relationship between police officers and the youth of our community. Officer Wilson will divide her time between the elementary and high school buildings. We are looking forward to a fulfilling partnership with the Stanley PD and Officer Wilson.
