Braxton Istilart spent the past weekend representing Stanley High School at the ND All-State Music Festival in Bismarck. He completed a live audition in January before being selected to the group. Braxton worked with the top musicians from around the state under the direction of Dr. T. André Feagin, Director of Bands at Central Washington University. World renowned composer, John Mackey, was also in residence for the Festival to work with the students on his programmed piece Some Treasures are Heavy with Human Tears.
