Due to the weather conditions 1st and 5th grade field trips scheduled for tomorrow, May 13th, will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 19th. Classroom teachers will provide updated schedules as soon as they confirm all of the changes with the host venues.
All library books are due at both schools. Please check with your child to make sure they have returned all books. Lost books need to be paid for. Please contact Mrs. Neset with any questions.

Congratulations to the Stanley FFA Horse Judging Team on being named 10th place overall. Gold individuals were Tylie Johnson placing 9th, Bethany Enander placing 12th and Molly Lund placing 12th, Carly Rismon was named silver individually and CeeJay Bohmbach placed bronze.

North Dakota requires students to be Choice Ready when they graduate high school. In order to do so, our students must complete 25 hours of community service. To help our students meet this requirement, Stanley High School is looking for volunteer opportunities for the morning of Friday, May 20th. If you are aware of an area that needs cleaning, organizing, yard work, or if you have a service project that would be perfect for high school students, please leave the information on the following link. From time to time, you may spot North Dakota State Trooper vehicles in our parking lot. The NDHP utilized our multipurpose room for their training. Our central location in the district provides a good space for the troopers to gather for their instruction.

Several band students are headed to State B Music this weekend in Minot!
There are goodie bags set up in the High School teacher’s workroom if you would like to drop off some treats to show your support for those band students headed to state. (25 bags; 24 students, 1 director)
Goodie bags will be out until Friday evening.

Gel guns such as Orbeez and Splatball are gaining popularity with youth. As a school, we cannot take guns of any type on school grounds lightly. Gel guns have no place in the school or on our property. Consequences of having gel guns on school grounds could include suspension or expulsion from school.
