Mr. Hellman’s 4th graders have been learning about the terrible food during the Civil War. Today they had the opportunity to try hard tack. Needless to say they were happy they didn’t have to eat it every day!

Congratulations to Braxton Istilart for making it into the ND All-State Band! Braxton did a live audition that required him to perform prepared scales, an etude, and a solo. In addition, he had to sight read music which is performing music on the spot without seeing it beforehand. Braxton will work with the top music students in the state in March at the Bismarck Events Center under the direction of Dr. T Andre Feagin. Their concert will be Saturday, March 25th at 1:00pm.
