Might as well make learning math FUN! 🤪
Mrs. Stafslien’s class used the famous “Pop Its” to learn more about arrays!
Arrays are representations of multiplication facts. They rolled a dice to show 2 factors to multiply and pop their array. If they were able to solve for the product, they got a point! They had a blast and did a very good job! 👍🏻

The first four weeks of K-5 Music class have been going great! The kids and I have been learning about a few new artists (Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar), as well as new composers, instruments, and fun new songs.
Grades 2 + 5 have already begun working hard on concert material for their Fall Concert (October 28th at 6pm) and they've been doing AMAZINGLY well!
In the picture, you'll see the names of the first four weeks worth of "Musicians of the Week!" These musicians are wonderful representations of positive energy that make learning music so much fun!

Today Mr. Hellman’s Social Studies classes discussed the attacks of Sept. 11th. First, the class watched a short Nickelodeon video explaining the events of that day. Next, the class listened to what Mr. Hellman remembered of that day. They then had a discussion and students were encouraged to ask questions they may have about what happened. The class discussed the events and discussed why it is so important for us to remember this anniversary. Tomorrow the classes will take a virtual trip to the twin towers both before and after the attacks.
