Friday morning, NDHP Trooper Hilzendeger rode a Stanley school bus, watching for anyone violating the stop arm. Trooper Gudvangen was close by in his patrol car to stop any violators. Thank you, NDHP, for working to keep our students safe. Our students and driver enjoyed having you on the bus!

We have enjoyed reading the Jan Brett Christmas selections and activities and now are on to her Winter titles and Literacy Activities!! Please help our school win a visit from this amazing author!!!

🚨PARENTS:🚨
Please make sure you are sending your children to school with proper winter attire: WINTER coat, hat, gloves, snow pants, & boots for recess, riding the bus, or going to activities.

Elementary Math Tip: Woodburnpress.com said it perfectly when they said, "Children are learning new math skills every day, and they may sometimes get frustrated. If your child is feeling discouraged or frustrated, provide encouragement and keep a positive attitude. Remind your child that being good at math isn't something you're born with - math is something you learn."

2 weeks ago, one of our own lost someone very close to them.
Boston Glueckert, 15 year old nephew of 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Ploium passed away suddenly due to natural causes.
To show our support to Mrs. Ploium and her family, the staff at the elementary and high school raised $500 to be given to the Williston Coyote Foundation for a scholarship the family set up in Boston's name.

Please let Miss Hawbaker or Jana know if you have any questions. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated!
