Our active threat drill at the high school provided an opportunity for our students to practice what they have learned in our run, hide, fight training. These students did a great job barricading their classroom.


The drill is complete. It was a successful practice of our protocol. Thank you to area law enforcement, fire department, and the emergency manager for their assistance.

The active threat drill at the High School will start at 12:30 today.

The high school band concert is tonight at 7 PM. The hallway by the office will be closed for painting. Please use the South hallway.

Yesterday we had the privilege of having Jeff Yalden speak to our students. If you didn’t get to hear his message at the community event, talk to your kids about his message. What was their take away from his talk with them.


The Mountrail County Health Foundation, the Stanley Park District and the Stanley High School will bring Skittle Skool II to all students in grades 7-12 on April 10th. There will be more than 20 presenters speaking on 11 different topics related to teens.

Join us for community speaker Jeff Yalden tonight, April 8, at 5pm at the HS gym. Jeff, an Amazon #1 best selling author, will be here to visit about teen mental health resiliency and teen suicide. Thank you to Mountrail Co. Health Foundation for sponsoring this important event.

This past Friday the Stanley Elementary 4th grade took a trip to the Stanley Library in celebration of Library week. Librarian Kelly Kudrna gave the classes a tour of the library and explained all of the services available. The classes were encouraged to come back and visit, especially next week for the official Library Week.
