The After Prom Party Committee, comprised of SHS parents, is seeking donations from individuals or businesses for the 2019 After Prom Party.
The After Prom Party provides a safe, fun, drug-free and alcohol-free environment after the dance. We appreciate the past support we’ve received from individuals and businesses in our community and the surrounding area. You make this event a success!
Prom will be held on Saturday, April 13 with the After Prom Party following the dance. Please keep this worthwhile activity available to our teens by considering a donation. Your donations offset the cost of food, prizes, and entertainment.
Donations can be dropped off at the Stanly High School or Gooseneck Implement. They can also be mailed to Stanley High School c/o After Prom Party PO Box 10, Stanley, ND 58784.

Mrs. Davis’s and Mrs. Sandeen’s class did a sink or float experiment with candy hearts and different liquids.



Stanley School will dismiss early on Thursday, February 14 for a teacher in-service. The elementary school will dismiss at 12:20 PM and the high school at 12:30 PM. Also, a reminder that there is no school on Monday, February 18.

Free basketball camp for children in grades 5-8. Registration is due Feb 15!
Flyers will he sent home today with 5th and 6th graders.

Stanley School will start on time on Friday, February 8 but there will be no morning buses. We will plan to run afternoon bus routes.

Tech Day on February 6 at Minot State University has been canceled.

Stanley school and buses will be 2 hours late on Monday, February 4. Buses will run where possible.

Stanley high school staff wore red to call attention to heart disease in women. Go Red for Women!


Mr. Peterson’s Chemistry Casino is a learning opportunity for chemistry students to learn how to make neutral compounds. Their playing cards are ions which they have to mix and match to form ionic compounds. Students love this day!

Mrs. Schieve’s class made 100th day shirts and joined Mrs. Drosdal class for some fruit loop activities!
