OFFICIAL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to heavy rains in Carrington, Day 1 of the State B Golf Meet has been canceled. The State B Golf Meet will now be a one day, 18 hole event tomorrow Wednesday June 5. Tomorrow’s tee times will be posted later today.
Any fans who purchased a 2-day digital tournament ticket on GoFan will receive a credit card refund equivalent to 50% of their purchase following the tournament.

State Track send off tomorrow morning! We will be leaving the high school at 9:15 and driving down main street ! Come cheer these athletes on as they head out to state!

The Region Track and Field meet in Minot on Saturday has been moved to Friday. Running events start at 3:00 and Field events at 3:30.

Elementary School last day reminders: Friday, May 17th there will not be breakfast or lunch served. Students are to eat breakfast before they come to school and bring a sack lunch for picnic day. School will dismiss at 12:20.

As we wrap up the school year, we are celebrating our students who received Courage and Creativity awards in April and May! Congratulations to our K-6 students for choosing to do what is helpful and kind and using their imagination to solve problems! Great work, Bluejays!





Stanley FFA received a $500 grant from North Dakota Stare Fair Foundation and Hess Corporation to provide Cancer Care Kits to local cancer patients. Check out Sanford Health Foundation and Trinity Health Foundation Facebook pages for more highlights.




Last Day of School Information:
For the elementary school please note that Friday, May 17th there will not be hot lunch served at Stanley Elementary School. Students are to bring a sack lunch. School will dismiss at 12:20.
At the high school, the last day is a finals test day. (Students who are exempt from finals will have their exemption list provided on Tuesday.) All junior high students will take finals.
On Friday, students taking finals in grades 7-12 will have a sack lunch provided. If parents would like to sign their child out at lunch (11:20) they may do so. Please call the office. Students who are not signed out will be dismissed at the end of their lunch period (noon) with buses leaving the elementary at 12:20 and then heading to the high school.

Just a reminder that all library books are due.

Softball Kids Camp


The elementary track and field day is on May 14th, at the Will Athletic Complex. Grades 3-6 will be participating from 9:45 to 11:15. Grades K-2 will be participating from 12:15 to 2:45. First grade will be on a field trip that day so we may not use all of the allotted time. Parents and spectators are welcome to come on out, sit in the bleachers, and support the blue jays.

If you happened to notice the ambulances parked outside of the high school this morning, rest assured that all is well. The ambulance service provided a refresher training for our staff this morning. We appreciate their time and assistance.

Junior High and High School Band and Drumline Parents/Guardians:
Bismarck Band Night is this Friday, May 10! A sheet was sent home with students on Monday, May 6 with information about Friday regarding what they will wear, when they leave and return, as well as what they will be doing for food, etc. If you have not seen that please ask your student or contact Ms. Schwingler.
The parade begins at 6:30pm at the state capitol building. Stanley is #71 in the parade line-up. Attached is a picture of the parade route.


Reminder for students in grades 9-12 as we wrap up the school year: Unless otherwise stated, the last day for students to turn in late work is Friday, May 10th. Semester finals will be May 16th (all day) and May 17th (noon dismissal). All junior high students will take their finals. Students in grades 9-12 are exempted from finals using the following criteria for their grades and attendance: A = 4 or less absences from class, B = 3 or less absences from class, C = 2 or less absences from class.

Congratulations to the Stanley FFA Horse Judging Team! They placed 2nd place overall! Receiving golds were Sidney Enerson (2nd place individual), Tylie Johnson (8th place individual) and CeeJay Bohmbach (13th place individual) receiving silver awards were Ziva Ottesen and Nevaeh Charnetzki.
