
Crisis Intervention Counselors will be at the schools on Wednesday, April 24th. If you feel your child would benefit from spending time with a counselor, please contact the school and leave your name/your child's name with the office so we can arrange a time. Students in both buildings will have access to this service.

This is a request for everyone to wear pink and purple on April 25th.


5th and 6th Grade Band Parents/Guardians:
The elementary band concert is tonight (April 23) at 6:30pm in the elementary school gym. It is with Mrs. Cramer's 4th grade concert. The elementary bands do not perform pieces long enough to have their own designated concert. Band students should be at the school by 5:45 so they can warm-up, tune, and get lined up in their spots to go to the gym. Please see the attached flyer for more information or contact Ms. Schwingler directly if you have questions.


The Cordell Volson Football Camp will be held in Harvey, ND on June 21st and 22nd. It is expected to be larger than last year. It is open to grades 3-12. Registration is recommended by June 10 to guarantee your camp t-shirt. Register at the following link:

Stanley vs DLB softball is rescheduled for today at 8:30pm at the Minot State bubble !

SHS presents Theatre Night tonight, April 18, 2024 at the Regis Theater located on Main Street in Stanley. There will be two one-act plays performed starting at 6:30 pm. Please come out to enjoy performances by our Theater Arts Class and Drama Club.

Softball: Today's Stanley @ DLB and Friday's Stanley vs Ray softball games have been postponed to later dates.

Baseball: Fridays Game Stanley @ Velva has been cancelled and will not be made up.

Todays (4/18) KenmareBBC @ Stanley baseball game has been postponed to Thursday, May 9th @ Stanley starting at 4:30pm due to weather conditions.

Mr. Hellman’s math class continued learning valuable life skills today by learning to read and use a tape measure. Students were shown how to read and write what each “tick line” means. They were then given a tape measure and went throughout the school measuring everything and anything!



Next Week is concert week for 1st and 4th Grade! 1st Grade will perform at 2:00pm and 4th Grade will perform at 6:30! We are so excited to show you what we've learned in the Elementary School Gym!


Mrs. Wenger's sixth grade math class wrapped up their financial literacy unit with a trip to Bravera Bank. They learned all about checking and savings accounts, loans, and where their money goes when they bring it to the bank. They left with lots of knowledge and goodies! Thank you Lacey and Natalie for this opportunity for our class.

The high school ASL class came over to the elementary today to teach us how to sign various picture books. Mrs. Wenger's 6th graders learned how to sign "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" We enjoyed playing "Around the World" with the signs they taught us after we mastered the book!
