Next week Stanley High School will begin taking the North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA)! Our 10th graders will test on Monday, March 13, 14, and 15. Our 7th and 8th graders will test Tuesday, March 21, 22, and 23.
Mrs. Sorenson has been in meeting with 10th grade this week and we are excited to work hard on the NDSA. Students were given their previous NDSA results. If you would like to see them, your child can bring them home or you can email me at Sarah.Sorenson@k12.nd.us for a copy. I will meet with 7th and 8th grade on March 20 to hand out last year's scores and set goals for this year's testing.
By working together, we can make this experience full of growth and success. Please make sure that your child gets enough sleep, eats a healthy breakfast at home or at school, arrives to school on time and encourage them to try their best.
We will have headphones on hand for students to use, but they are encouraged to bring their own headphones to use for testing.

MWEC would like to sponsor high school students interested in exploring the Lineman career.
MWEC wanted to share with you an exciting opportunity for our kids to participate in an elective program Bismarck High School is putting together for students this summer. It is open to students going into their Sophomore, Junior and Senior year of high school.
We would like to open this opportunity for all community members in Williams and Mountrail County, however, if there is more interest than spots available, preference will be given to students serviced by MWEC. The only cost to the student is a ride to and from Bismarck. All other expenses room, board, meals and classes will be paid for by the cooperative.
Unfortunately, we have a very quick deadline of March 27, 2023.
Please contact to sign-up or if you have any questions.
