Today, Mrs. Stafslien’s class were “Distributive Doctors!” 🥼
Thanks to the Mountrail County Medical Center for generously donating our scrubs & masks! The kids had to take a multiplication fact and break it down into two smaller facts to solve! They also had to cut apart arrays to represent those two smaller facts!
They did such a great job & looked like professionals! ❤️🩺

Monday 10/24 Activities:
Volleyball @ South Prairie ABC games start at 5 pm

During the month of October, SHS juniors and seniors have been working on planning after high school! Here are a few pictures of the fun we have been having!
Miss Hawbaker, Mrs. Sorenson and Mrs. Walter's took 30 students to a T-4 hands on Career Summit in Parshall. Students were able to explore different career options and talk to different employers for many different types of trades. They all loved the hands on welding activities!
Mrs. Sorenson was in the classroom for a few days with juniors and seniors working on their 4 year rolling plan and exploring career options based on student's classes, hobbies, activities, and their Myers-Briggs Personality results.
And, thanks to the Bank of ND, all seniors were given the opportunity to apply to one college in North Dakota for free on our College Application Day!

Good Luck to Blue Jays Cross Country Team!!! Races start at 3pm in Jamestown

The 3rd graders created “Character Pumpkins” this week! 🎃
They picked their favorite fictional book characters and transformed their pumpkins into them! So much creativity & FUN!

Thank you United Quality Cooperative for donating the funds from your football tailgate to the Stanley FFA Chapter. We appreciate your continued support of our program!

Take a look at our Red Ribbon Week dress-up days as we celebrate and focus on healthy choices and drug prevention throughout the week starting on Tuesday, October 25th and wrapping up on Halloween! Theme: "Every day is a choice: Live drug-free!"
We are also sponsoring a Hat Week from October 24th-28th. Students and staff can donate $1/day and wear a hat each day to help raise money for our local SACK program.

Congratulations!!!

On Friday, the Magic City Discovery Center from Minot came to do a STEAM project with the 2nd and 3rd graders! The 2nd graders learned about engineering and had to build a structure to support a book. The 3rd graders learned about magnets and made a maze for their magnet to go through.
