Phone service have been restored.

We were notified that an issue in Bismarck has disconnected our phone service, but our internet still works. If you need to contact the school, please send an email to. carol.danks@k12.nd.us at the HS or shilo.stone@k12.nd.us at the elementary.

Head lice has been detected in the Elementary School. Please check your students and keep them home for treatment if you find lice. I have included a quick reference guide for managing head lice, and we encourage parents to follow the appropriate steps to treat and prevent future infestations. Similarly, we are starting to see an increase in sicknesses in the building and would ask your help in keeping students home if they are unwell. As we approach cold and flu season, we will continue to sanitize our facility and promote health habits such as washing hands and covering sneezes, but an essential piece of keeping our students and staff healthy is to prevent as much sickness from entering the building as possible.

Reminder: No School on Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23. There will be staff training those two days.

🍩 ARRAY BAKERY 🍩
Mrs. Stafslien’s 3rd graders turned math class into a BAKERY! We have been studying arrays which are representations of multiplication facts! These help students get a visual of the fact and build number sense. They had a great time! 👩🏼🍳

It’s not always fun and games in Mr. Hellman‘s class. Today the students took their STAR assessment. This test is given four times a year as a tool to help teachers see where their students may be needing the most help in math and reading. It is an important “puzzle piece” used with other assessments, observations and classwork to help grow our eager learners!
