See High School Dress up days below!

Every year on the anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Mr. Hellman's 4th grade Social Studies classes learn about what the attacks were and what happened on that day. Today the class learned about all of the events as well as being able to ask Mr. Hellman questions about that day. They watched a Nickelodeon news video to help explain in kid terms what happened. Tomorrow the classes will take a Webb field trip to look at all of the sites of the attack before and after he attacks.

🚨 Lunch Sign-Out Reminder 🚨
We’ve noticed a growing number of students (not seniors) being signed out to leave for lunch. While parents always have the right to sign out their child, we kindly ask that you help us keep this from becoming a daily routine.
👉 Senior lunch privileges are meant to be a special part of senior year, and we want to preserve that tradition.
👉 Frequent sign-outs are also creating a heavy load of phone calls and office traffic for our secretary during the day.
👉 Please note: if a student leaves for lunch, they may not bring food back for friends. This has also become a concern.
We fully understand that occasional sign-outs may be needed, but when it becomes a regular occurrence, it takes away from both the intent of senior privileges and the smooth operation of our office.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us keep senior privileges meaningful! 💙

Students were showing excitement as the Blue Jays football players greeted them at the school entrance. The energy was contagious, with high-fives and smiles filling the air. Such a memorable way to start the day!

Have you wanted to check out the new addition to the High School? Join us on Monday, September 22nd, from 5-7 pm for an open house! Our FBLA, FCCLA, and FFA members will be serving lemonade, Desserts, and Taco in a Bag to celebrate the new space.

Mr. Hellman's 4th graders learned about the three branches of government and what they do today. They also have been learning about the founding of our country and the constitution.

💙 Class Dues Reminder Grades 7-12 💙
Each student is asked to contribute $5 in class dues. This small amount goes a long way!
✅ Throughout the year, class funds may be used for things like sending flowers or care packages if a classmate is experiencing a lengthy illness.
✅ Any unused money rolls forward and builds over time to help cover bigger expenses during junior and senior years—such as prom (decorations, food, music) and senior year graduation costs (caps, gowns, stoles, flowers, and more).
As our classes grow, these expenses add up. Collecting dues now ensures less out-of-pocket cost later and helps make sure every student is included in these milestone events.
👉 Please send $5 with your student in grades 7-12 to contribute to their class fund. They can drop it off in the office an we will mark them as paid.
If the $5 is a hardship, please reach out to alecia.pulver@k12.nd.us
