The District GBB Tournament will be allowing general admission op to 750 fans. It is asked that fans leave once their perspective team is done for the night. Concessions will be offered and it will be streamed on the link provided at the end of this message. Masks ARE required for attendance. This game will also be streamed on the NFHSnetwork. Tomorrow's (2/9) A,B BBB matchup @ NT will start at 4:15 and be followed by a 6pm game. Masks ARE required and attendance for away fans will be restricted to 2 passes per player/team personnel. Second grade had a great 100th day of school! Their day was filled with many 100th day activities! One of their favorite activities was STEM stations. During these stations, they had to make a plan together for each different station. Then they had to complete that plan while working together as a team.

Reminder that Region 3 Wrestling Duals will take place Friday 2/5 @ Stanley HS gym starting at 3pm and Northwest Conference Invite- Region 3 Individual Wrestling Tournament will take place Saturday 2/6 starting at 10am. General admission will be open to 900 fans and the game will be streamed for free on NFHSNetwork. Masks are recommended and concessions will be served. Good luck to all Region 3 schools competing this weekend.

Last night the school board had a special meeting and amended the mask requirement in the schools. Masks will be required in school during the school day except in instances where social distancing can be maintained.

Second grade classes learned about osmosis by conducting a gummy bear experiment. They formed a hypothesis, observed the gummy bears, and recorded the results.

There will be a special meeting of the Stanley School Board at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3 in the teacher workroom at the high school to discuss the mask requirement.

Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present your 2020 Homecoming King and Queen, Noah and Elle! The Court: Grace, Chance, Raygen, Shawn (not pictured), Macy, Noah, Elle, Joaquin, Kaylee, and Jace. The crowns were carried by Layla, Rory, and Lainey. Our 2018 HoCo Queen, Hannah, was present to crown this years' royalty.

Stanley fourth graders have been learning about the Civil War. One of the things that they learned about was the food hardtack. Yesterday they got the chance to experience this wonderful food first hand. I think it’s safe to say they would prefer other meals to the Civil War delicacy!

Tomorrow's wrestling event has become a Quad: (Killdeer, Beulah, and Kenmare). We will be using 2 mats for competitions that begin at 5pm. Attendance is open to general admission and capped at 50% capacity. No tickets are required for attendance, masks are recommended, and concessions will be served. This will also be Senior Night so come out to support our seniors and their families as they compete in their last regular season home matches here in Stanley.
