Today Mr. Hellman’s Social Studies classes discussed the attacks of Sept. 11th. First, the class watched a short Nickelodeon video explaining the events of that day. Next, the class listened to what Mr. Hellman remembered of that day. They then had a discussion and students were encouraged to ask questions they may have about what happened. The class discussed the events and discussed why it is so important for us to remember this anniversary. Tomorrow the classes will take a virtual trip to the twin towers both before and after the attacks.

Mrs. Essler's Human A&P class had fun with Gummy Bears today! We listened to the Gummy Bear song as they dissected and pinned Gummy Bears to show orientation, directional terms, and planes. I think their favorite part was eating the Bears at the end 😉

Mrs. Stafslien’s 3rd graders had some WILD visitors in class today!! 🐙🐅 🐊🦌 My class has been learning about different animals and their homes. We talked about adaptations they have in order to live there. We imagined that the classroom wouldn’t be the best place for these animals to live! 🤣 By using the Google app, we got to experience these wild creatures in our classroom! So much fun!
