Throughout the last few weeks Mr. Hellman’s social studies classes have been learning about the causes of the American Revolution. The evil King Hellman III has unjustly taxed the colonists for far too long. Today the colonists had enough. After yet another unfair raising of taxes without any representation they decided to show their disapproval with tax protest posters. The king was not happy.

Our high school building is struggling with a great deal of vandalism in our bathrooms due to the recent TikTok challenge. We've also experienced students throwing away our lunch trays. This is causing unnecessary expenses and added work for our staff. Please talk with your children about proper behavior and respect for school property.

Might as well make learning math FUN! 🤪 Mrs. Stafslien’s class used the famous “Pop Its” to learn more about arrays! Arrays are representations of multiplication facts. They rolled a dice to show 2 factors to multiply and pop their array. If they were able to solve for the product, they got a point! They had a blast and did a very good job! 👍🏻

The first four weeks of K-5 Music class have been going great! The kids and I have been learning about a few new artists (Stevie Nicks and Pat Benatar), as well as new composers, instruments, and fun new songs. Grades 2 + 5 have already begun working hard on concert material for their Fall Concert (October 28th at 6pm) and they've been doing AMAZINGLY well! In the picture, you'll see the names of the first four weeks worth of "Musicians of the Week!" These musicians are wonderful representations of positive energy that make learning music so much fun!
