Blue Jay Booster State VB schedule of events.

The Ag 4 students prepared floral arrangements for the nursing home residents this week. The students delivered the arrangements to the residents today which brought both the students and the residents joy. It was especially fun to watch students such as Bridger Pulver make and deliver his arrangement for his Great Grandma Violet. (Picture was shared with permission from family) We hope that the residents can enjoy the flowers through the Thanksgiving Season!

Elementary Math Tip: Why do we still use analog (round) clocks in school? It's a visual that not only teaches time, but other Math skills, too. It's easier to visualize "half past," "quarter after," and "quarter to" on a round clock. Teaching clockwise and counterclockwise is a much easier skill to grasp when taught on an analog clock. Elapsed time is easier to "see" and figure out as well as counting by 5's. The hands on an analog clock are a good visual for 90, 180, 270, and 360 degree angles. Everyone needs to know how to read analog clocks as well as digital ones.
