As part of our Red Ribbon Week activities, SRO Wilson and the Stanley Police Department will have their K-9 unit in the schools on Thursday, October 26th and Friday, October 27th. Students will have the opportunity to see the dog and handlers in the school setting. If your child has allergies or a need to opt-out of this activity, please let the school know.
Special thanks to Superbloom for allowing us to take part in your Petal It Forward campaign. Superbloom dropped of bouquets of flowers for our staff members. Staff members received one bouquet to keep and one to give to another person to share the joy. Thank you, Superbloom, for brightening our day and allowing us to share the fun with others!
Mr. Murphy has joined the challenge to raise money for Jacob's expenses. His goal is $900! Help us meet meet this goal by dropping off your donation at the high school office. We have some other students who are joining in as well, so more photos to follow!

Over two amazing day students were able to:
•Tour 3 coffee locations and go behind the scenes and ask questions
•Taste test and see how various drinks are made
•Tour Bully Brew warehouse and learn the roasting process
•Hands on training on how to make espresso shots and froth milk
•How to increase coffee sales
•Enreprenurship and how to start a coffee shop with the owner and CEO of Bully Brew
Students lived it up for two days and came home inspired and ready for our grand opening on Tuesday October 24th at Stanley High School from 7:45-8:20!

Sixth graders ended the quarter with a Read and Feed! 📚 We lounged in the hallway with good books and yummy snacks to celebrate meeting our AR goals.
The 3rd graders completed their Character Pumpkins this week! 🎃
They each chose a book character to recreate. We ended the project by having a pumpkin parade and looking at all of the amazing pumpkins!

Attention all elementary and high school students! Next week on Tuesday, October 24, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week! Our theme is "Be Kind to Your Mind! Just say NO!" We will have dress up days, prizes, coloring contests, a talent show at the high school and more! Start out by wearing RED on Tuesday!
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in joining winter cheer on Monday, October 23 at 3:15 in the commons. Students that cannot attend should make arrangements to visit with the coaches.
