Mrs. Stafslien's class said their final good bye to their pen pals from Rosen Place Assisted Living today. They have been writing back and forth all year! Today, the students stopped by for a chat, a hug, and gave them a thank you card for writing to them all year! Some of the favorite memories the kids have with the residents were playing Bingo and eating cookies as well as getting a letter in the mail from them. ❤️ Thanks to Lauren Hysjulien for helping with this!

Grades 3-6 enjoyed a movie at the theater this morning and K-2 this afternoon! 🍿 The students who attended met all 4 quarter AR goals this year!

Sixth graders completed their end of the year science project. They used poster board and marshmallows to make topographic maps. A few marshmallows may have been snacked on during the process. 🙂🗺️

Some questions have been asked about teacher requests, so in order to clarify: Teacher requests are not required, but parents/guardians may choose to make a request for various reasons. Parent requests are taken into consideration when making class lists, but do not guarantee placement.

If your child has any underlying health concerns that would require close monitoring in the current smoky conditions, you are welcome to take your child home. This day will be excused. Students in grades 7-12 will be taking final tests, so those tests would need to be made up later this week. All outside activities have been cancelled today.
