Due to the forecasted thunderstorms and high chance of the parade being cancelled due to that, the Stanley Band will not be going to Bismarck Band Night. To show off the hard work the students have been doing to prepare, they will be doing a mini parade on Monday, May 15 in Stanley starting at 9:15am. The route is in the attached picture. The band will start at Stanley Elementary School on 4th Ave SW, go south on Main Street, east on 6th Ave SE, and turn onto 6th St SE to go by the hospital, and head back to Stanley High School. The students would love to see your support on Monday as they show off their skills!

Stanley FFA received a $500 grant from Hess Corporation and North Dakota State Fair Foundation to make Cancer Care Kits. Members made 14 kits (7 adult and 7 children) filled with handmade tie blankets, coloring books, colors and pictures colored by our Stanley Elementary and High School Students. Members then dropped off the adult kits at Trinity Health Cancer Center in Minot and the children's kits at Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo.

National Leadership Week comes to an end. Stuco spent several days this week in Kindergarten, painting flower pots and planting wildflower seeds with the littles. The kids enjoyed the craft and also learned about seeds and flowers. Once the flowers grow, they'll get to decide where to take them! Thanks for a great week of service, Student Council!
